Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen offers an amendment to cut the Organization of America States (OAS) funding and put taxpayer monies to a better use.  The OAS as well as the United Nations (UN) have become corrupt and ineffective organizations such as the UN misuse of funds in the Iraq scheme in the 1995-2003 Oil-for Food fraud (see link: http://www.heritage.org/research/internationalorganizations/bg) and other projects against the U.S. and the American people.

In my opinion the OAS as well as the UN are nests of parasites that are not supporting democracy, surviving mainly on U.S. contributions.

Our taxpayer dollars can be much better spent on other organizations and projects that directly benefit the people of the U.S. and the survival of freedom and democracy - as the founding fathers envisioned.
